At a Glance

For THON, Sigma Alpha and Delta Kappa Epsilon had two canning trips this semester. We had a great time on both and raised a lot of money FTK! To bond before a canning trip, we had our THON families over to DKE to paint pumpkins!

Sigma Alpha has been involved in many service opportunities such as Friday Night Lights Out, Halloween Blood Drive, Nature Go! Unplugged, and Greek or Treat. Sigma Alpha organized Money Wars to choose the men for the calendar, had a photoshoot, and sold the calendars.

After chapter we had a LinkedIn workshop thanks to Jaye and Jess! Many of our sisters are on the job or internship hunt. With the help of our two sisters many of us were able to better understand LinkedIn and or set up our own accounts!

Homecoming

Sigma Alpha was paired with Alpha Sigma and Tau Phi Delta for Homecoming. Our theme was LION KING!!!! This was a busy week with many events such as past to present, the Pollock block party, the alumni ice cream social, and the parade. After many hours of pomping, the parade float was ready and three sisters got to ride on the float dressed like lions.

To finish off the week, Penn State beat Maryland in the Homecoming football game! Sisters had fun tailgating and cheering on our football team.
