November is always a busy month. We all had fun helping AZ for Holiday Lights! There is a special shout out to the girls who stood out in the cold for the Manger scene, featuring a baby calf! Some of our girls had the opportunity to support our PSU boys at the big game in INDY! One of or professional speakers this semester was Dr. Dan Tobin. He discussed international agriculture and shared his experiences as a member of the Peace Corp.
Our girls in fundraising have set up a Yankee Candle Sale fundraiser. Consider supporting Sigma Alpha as you shop for the holidays (Group number 990095975. So far the sales have been wonderful.
MEMBERSHIP CANDIDATES IN ACTION
The membership candidate (MC) service project was volunteering at the Wildflower Trail. Check out the impressive paddles from paddle exchange. Tiana, our second vice president, put together a great I-weekend on November 11th-13th. Thank you to alumnae who returned to visit for family line dinner. The MCs planned a fun holiday themed social close out the semester.
THON UPDATES Family Carnival was a blast and a great opportunity to spend time with our THON families! The THON 2017 Logo was announced along with the theme “Igniting Hope Within”.
Congrats to our girls who will be dancing 46 hours FTK in THON 2017!
